In March 2020, right before the country shut down from covid, a massive tornado swept through Nashville and destroyed major neighborhoods within the city limits of Nashville. The tornado nearly went downtown.

At the time I lived less than a mile from where the tornado hit and I worked a normal job at a warehouse. I couldn't get to work because major highways and backroads were shut down. So I took my camera out every day I had off from work and went to photograph the story of this tornado. After five days I had visited five different impact areas, took a lot of stunning photos, and heard a lot of stories. It was a really humbling experience.
